For the past couple of days, my outlook 2002 client
hasn't been able to connect to my outbound mail server.
I've checked with my ISP and they say everything is fine
with the server and are able to send mail from it. I saw
some Q articles about setting the MTU on your router, and
I followed those instructions. It still does not work,
however. If anyone could help me out, I'd really
appreciate it. Here's the error message that I'm
getting:
Task 'mail.litak.com - Sending and Receiving' reported
error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to
your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Thanks in advance for any help. This used to work just
fine!
