Unable to send notes as e-mail

I have OneNote and cannot send any notes as e-mail. The e-mail button doesnt
even show up on the toolbar, and when i click File < Send to < it's just
blank after that. I have SP2 installed also. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks

Outlook 2003 is required to use email via OneNote. Do you have that
installed?

Yea i got outlook 2003 installed and an e-mail account set up with it too

Double-check to make sure Outlook 2003 is designated as your default email
program. If it isn't, do so, then close Outlook and restart your system.
If it is, in OneNote do a Detect and Repair... from the Help menu, then
close OneNote and restart your system.

EVerything checked out, I even tried to re-install onenote with no success.
I'm wondering though, do you know of a way to check your version of office?
i'm not 100% sure its 2003, but i'm almost certain it is. I dont know if
this has anything to do with it, but it's the Academic version of onenote, as
i'm in university. i doubt it has anything to do with it though
