unable to send/receive email

about a month ago, I have not been able to send or receive email thu my
outlook. The only change that I can think is that I started using Mozilla as
my browser. I have verizon as my internet provider and I have to check my
email thru their website. I have not been able to figure out the problem w
Outlook. I would love to to back to using outlook. Please help.
