Unable to set tab stops in MS-Word

I have one user who cannot set tab stops on the horizontal ruler in Word, and also the tab set box that appears at the far left of the horizontal toolbar is empty so we can't even use the to change between tabs (Left, right, centre etc)

How can I solve this so she can add tab stops, my PC is fine

Taken in conjunction with the other problems you (or your users) are
experiencing, I'd say the graphics driver might be the first line of attack.

Please help me how to set glossary in the end of the
documents, e.g. in alphabatical order along with page nos.
