I've got a new PS 4.5 Citrix farm running on Server 2003 R2 Std. I have
all the issues resolved except for setting up Office 2007.
I have the servers in their own OU and a new GPO that points them to a
new Roaming Profile share. This was done since the current farm is
running on Server 2000 and I wanted to start clean.
I have all the issues resolved except for the problem of configuring
Office. I would like it to happen silently w/o the user's intervention.
I have tried using the Custom Maintenance Wizard. I went thought every
step and created the CMW and PRF file. There are settings I need to
assure are set:
Outlook:
-------
- Not use Word as the editor
- New messages are RTF
- Automatically empty the Deleted Items Folder.
Word/Excel:
-----------
- Set default file location to W:\ (the user's Home Directory)
I set all this in the CMW/PRF file, but when I execute the PRF file, it
connects to the correct *mailbox* in Outlook, but none of the other
parameters.
I need to have this in place by the end of next week. I need suggestions
as to how to do this. Otherwise I'll have a lot of support calls
TIA,
