unable to set up security on new version of DB

S

Sarah Evans

We have recently made some changes to a database we use at
work, which had been secured. When we took the copy, we
removed all the user accounts while we were doing the
amendments.

It is ready to go back onto the shared drive on our LAN
now, but when we try to set up the security using the
wizard, we get an error message telling us the database is
already secured. The original database has been removed
from the folder, as have all the associated files.

Any ideas?????

Sarah,
You should not have needed to remove user accounts while you were modifying
the database. Also, you shouldn't need to use the security wizard more than
once. Merely open the User/Group Accounts screen and add the users and
groups you need.
