Unable to share foldername with users listed in Global Address Boo

When using the command Share My foldername found in the left pane of Outlook,
users listed are unable to open the folder shared. When they try they get the
error message "Unable to open the other users folder." When allowing the
alias "All Users", sometimes referred to as The World, the user can open it.
While this may be OK for information that is not sensitive, like a calendar,
it is not for sensitive information stored in the Inbox or the Journal.
Outlook is in CW mode, using Exchange.
Any ideas?
