unable to switch between profiles i outlook

Hi

Up until yesterday I would swicth between outlook profiles by closing the
app' and then opening it and selecting the profile I want. However since
yesterday the only time the dialog box appears asking which profile to choose
it as start up. Can anyone help? As far as I am aware I have made no
changes to my set up, and checking the control panel/mail indicates that the
the propmt for a profile to be used option has been checked and applied.

This indicates that Outlook is not stopping. Something is keeping the
OUTLOOK.EXE process running and you can verify that with Task Manager's
Processes tab. FOr suggestions on what it might be, see this:

Thanks for the advise. I have checked and Outlook is not running in the
background when I check the Task Manager. I also checked the link and turned
off all my security, restarted and the same behaviour. The Profile select
comes up first time round, but once I select one I am unable to switch to the
other without restarting again. Anyone have any idea?
