Unable to sync ERP with AD group

When I specific an AD group to sync with the Enterprise
Resource Pool, it doesn't work and I get the following
Application event log errors. Any ideas? Is there any
better documentation for this feature around?

You get this error when the name of the AD group you specify is not
recognized by AD as a real group name.

A common mistake is for people to enter it like this:
Domainname\groupname

You should not put the domain name in with the group name. Enter ONLY
the group name.

If that is not the case for you then verify that you have spelled the
group name correctly and that the Project Server is a member of the
domain to which this group belongs.
