unable to sync my smart phone with onenote

I cannot sync my pantech duo smart phone with onenote. it does install but it
does not sync. does anyone know how i can fix this?

my computer uses windows XP and i have onenote 2007. my phone runs on windows
mobile 5 (i think) i just purchased the phone about 2-3 weeks ago. it does
not have documents to go on it, does that make a difference?

Are there setttings in ActiveSynch for OneNote?

Can you create a Note on the phone?

there are no settings in the sync window, however when i explore my device
after going through many folders i can find the onenote application but it
does not list the documents i have typed up using onenote. i have created
notes on my phone using onenote, but do you mean do i have an application
called notes? i do also have an application called notes.

the operating system on my phone is mobile 6. when i open the active sync
application on the device when it is not attached to the PC i can see onenote
in the list of things to be synced but i cannot check it. its blocked.

In ActiveSynch, when you click menu Tools-Options, is One Note enabled?

And you do not see any of the items you created on the phone when
opening OneNote on the phone?

No, that's a totally different animal.

i do also have an application called notes.

Yes, that's standard. But it has nothing to do with OneNote.
This app creates single notes which are synched with Outlook.

How is the situation when the device is connected to the PC?

What do you see in ActiveSync on the PC when the device is connected?
