Unable to sync OneNote Mobile to Vista

Hi

I have Office 2007 and Vista Ultimate installed on my PC, ON Mobile
installed on my WM5 Smartphone. These are the release versions from our MSDN
subscription.

In Sync Center I have the ON synchronisation selected.

Synchronsiation in Sync Center reports no errors, but my mobile notebook
doesn't sync up. I can find no trace of it on my hard drive, I can't see
anything on ON either.

I *can* make notes on my Smartphone but nothing seems to be syncing

Can anyone suggest where I should start looking to track down the problem?

Thanks in advance

Cameron

Thanks Nicolas

I've uninstalled and reinstalled both OneNote Mobile (Both on the phone and
on the storage card) and Windows Mobile Device Center, but the sync is still
not working.

OneNote Mobile syncronisation is selected in WMDC and also in the sync
application on the phone.

No errors seem to be reported, and as a result I'm finding it really hard to
track this one down.

Any other thoughts?

thanks

I have a similar problem. the synchronization seems to work only
intermittently from the PC to the mobile phone. It seems to work from the
phone to the PC most of the time. I spent time on the technical support line
to Microsoft and that was a waste. Is there a good technical explanation of
how synchronization works between a PC and a phone and what to expect?

I dont believe this; is it not possible to sync OneNote mobile through
Windows Vista!?!?!?!?!

I have tried now for the last weeks with no results. Do we have a fix
comming up, or is OneNote2007 actually not compatible with Vista on this
matter?

Regards, Henrik (se post above)

I have the same problem with OneNote 2007, Vista Ultimate, and Windows Mobile
5.0. I downloaded Process Monitor from the Microsoft web site and didn't
show any file activity related to ".one" files when I synced my phone. I
tried initiating the Sync from both the PC and the phone and the same result.
How could this be? Does it work for anyone?
