Unable to type in combo box which fronts the switchboard

Hi

I am having issues in not being able to type in the combo box that fronts the
switchboard on opening my access data. I have no problems in opening to a
new record by using the command button.

Any ideas to why this is. I do have other data bases and non of these have
this issue. I have also check there property info against the database and i
could not see any in discrepancies.

Common things to check:

Combo box is Enabled
Combo box is not Locked
Combo box is not bound to an expression in its Control Source
Combo box has a table/query in its Row Source, or a list of allowed items in
its Row Source
Combo box is not bound to a field in the form's Record Source when the
form's Record Source query is not updatable
Form's AllowEdits is set to Yes

I have checked all you have suggested and everything is correct, but i am
still having the same problem . Do have any further ideas.
