Unable to unprotect previously protected documents in Trial Word 2

Hi!

I am using a trial version of Word 2007. I have a document protected with
password saved in Word 2003 previously. I am now unable to unprotect the
document. What can i do to unprotect the document?

I can't seems to create a new word document in Word 2007 too. Some one
please enlighten me.
