Unable to update due to System Administrator

Normally my Office is updated from the company network. I´m now on a long
business trip and want to update my Office package directly on the Microsoft
Office site. Does anybody know how I can resolve this? I do have have access
to the Administrator user account on my laptop.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Sten-Olof,

If the Office package was installed from an Office Admin Point
on your company network that included Office updates then
generally you'd need access to that Admin Point for maintaining
the integrity of the Office suite installation.

If you have the CDs then uninstalling Office and installing
from the CD or using the CD to reinstall the software may work
but you'd need to check with your Office Administrator. They
can create custom Office CDs from the Admin point that include
the updates.
