unable to update officexp/sp3: error 1328 config.Msi\PTBO.tmp pre.

Re-installed xp OS and updated with microsoft sp3 disk. Re-installed Office
xp professional after that OS update. Attempted office sp3 update by
download. Process continues to step 3 (installation) but stops. Attempted to
serially go through office xp updates by starting with office xp1. Process
continues to step 3 but now I am unable to download Office xp sp1 because of
"Error 1328 applying patch to file C:\ Config.Msi\PTBO.tmp probably updated
by other means and can no longer be modified by this patch."

Search for the full file version of Office XP SP3, it can be installed
without XP SP1 or XP SP3 installed for Office.
