Unable to use Contacts in Emails

I am using Outlook 2003 Service Pack 3, and am having some issues with my
contacts. I right click on the properties folder on shortcut mode. Then
click on Outlook Address Book. From there I am supposed to select the show
this folder tab as an email address book. That tab is grey'd out. How do I
remove that grey'd out so I can get this working properly.

First thank you for being so quick to respond! I apprecaite the help.
Unfortuanltey I did all the steps that were shown on the link and still am
unable to check the box under the Outlook Address Book. Is there anything
else I can try?

If the box remains grayed out, it means you have not yet added the Outlook
Address Book Service to your profile successfully. Tell me how you did so.
Make sure you restarted Outlook after you added the service.

I just redid all the steps and say I never clicked on the right address book!
