Unable to use Windows SharePoint Services

[Unable to use WSS from Project Server]

We have been using Project Server 2003 and ActiveDirectory. I have deleted
the WSSAdmin ID in Active Directory accidentally and as a result of this, I
could not access Windows SharePoint Services. I have created the user id
again in Active Directory. Now I could not access WSS with newly created
projects, but could not access the WSS site for old projects though Iam able
to open subsite seperately. I have checked up the site provisioning settings
and its ok. I have also synchronised Administrators ID for all subweb sites.

Can you pls guide me how to resolve this problem

I'm not the foremost authority on project server, but I do know that
active directory accounts are known not just by their names, but by
their SID's. For security purposes accounts are given security numbers
that are system generated. The notion that we may just recreate a
deleted account, therefore, doesn't fly. My suggestion would be to
change the name of the active directory account you've created, and
then to look through the configuration of project server and wss and
change the account name to your new name whereever the old name
appears.

If you have not done so already, you might want to download the Project
Server Resource Kit from Microsoft's download site. It has
installation guides you might follow to find those places where the
names are entered. It is also a great resource for answering all
manner of other questions, never mind what I've learned during such
searches.

Try to re-set the WSS connection using the DCOM setup utility
