Unable to Validate for Download

I

Ian Green

I am running Small Business Office 2007 with CRM.
My product validated successfuly after installation. (Internet connection)
When I tried to download a Plug-in for Word, I got a message stating my SB
Office 2007 could not be validated.
I followed the support instructions to remove the ".dat" file and again
successfully validated the product over the net.
I tried to email Microsoft, but when I entered my Product ID I was told it
was invalid or had been incorrectly entered. Which it hadn't!
I have no earlier versions of Office running, nor have I previously run the
Trial version.
The original software was purchased from an MS Certified source, so I
believe it is genuine.
I am running this in Vista Home Premium.
Can anyone help please as it is driving me mad.

Thank you,

Ian

Typically when you encounter this you are able to obtain more information on
why the validation is failing. What does the message say exactly?
