Unable to view additional Outlook 2007 Windows

P

Paul K

Running Win 7 54-bit and Outlook 2007. Problem just started today. If I hit
Reply To or New Mail message I cannot display the new window. It will display
in the bottom Task Bar when I mouse over the Outlook Icon. I have tried the
resetnavpane command and also removed and re-installed Outlook from the CD.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> type; outlook.exe /safe

If so, it is caused by an add-in you have installed. Disable them all and
see if it still is ok. Then enable them one by one to find the cultprit.

That's not a navpane problem. Is the window in a permanent minimized state?
What happens if you click on the window? Can you see it if you right click
on the Windows taskbar and choose cascade windows?

Thank you both for the quick replies. Running WIN 7. If I place my mous
pointer over the Outlook Icon in the bottom task pane I can see the additiona
Outlook windows I.e. the Reply window. As soon as I move the pointer over th
Reply window all I get is my desktop screen. This only impacts Outlook. I ca
view and open additional Mozilla windows.

Uncertian if I had added any plug-ins that would have caused the issue. I wa
attempting to download a game launcher. I ran Panda to ensure that I had n
viruses. Will attempt to roll the PC back to an earlier date and see wha
happens.
