Hoping that an MSFT or MVP will take pity on me, this is my glitch:
An email was forwarded to my partner who uses the same computer (Windows
XP)and the same ISP. When you open the email in his profile, an imbedded
(animated) gif is seen. He forwarded the email to 6 people, including me.
When I opened my email, I could see the image but it wasn't animated (moving).
I rang some of the recipients who had the email forwarded to them and all of
them could see a moving image in their email. I had my partner forward the
email to me again but the image is static in my received email(s).
I've checked my settings in Internet Options and through Outlook Tools but
can't see anything that may prevent me from seeing this email as others see
it.
Is my profile corrupted and may I need to set up a new profile and all that
goes with it re: saving .pst files, etc?
Any help is appreciated and will will be paid back in kind or animated emails.
Thanks in advance...
