I have gone backwards and fowards with this one user. In his Outlook, his
images do not appear when he receives e-mails from other internal or external
users. We have looked at his e-mail settings and he is set to view images in
HTML format with th Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages
checked. On the security tab we have changed the automatic download settings
to permit downloads and unchecked the Don't download pictures or other
content automatically in HTML e-mail. We have also checked the unblock images
option as well. I have compared his Outlook settings with other users and it
is identical. However he is the only user that cannot see images. We checked
his profile and tried to recreate it. Renaming his old profile, user.old and
then starting a new one when he logs in. Still his profile picks up this
problem each time. We also noticed that if he tried to forward or reply, then
you are able to see the images or clip art. Please let me know if I am
missing something. I wanted to just delete the user from AD and just add him
as new to get around the problem but wanted to see if there was something
that I can do before taking this measure. Please advise.
