Unable to View Projects

Prasanna

Scenarion 1: I have created Projects in MS Project Server 2003 and Published.
I have Project Manager and Administrator previliges. If I log in as a
different user with Only Project Manager Priviliges still cannot see the
Projects the List is EMPTY

Scenario 2: If I am a Project Manager and create a Project file and publish.
None of the Project Managers can see that File

3. If I change the Role to admin I can see all the files

What should I do in above situation to view all Project files

Hi Prasanna,

it seems to me that this is a security issue. It appears that your Project
Manager user group is not set up correctly.
I would compare the security settings of Project Managers with the Security
settings of Administrators. Soon you will find that your PM's do not have a
setting that you require to view the projects.
Alternatafly you may want to check if your Project Center Views have the
correct Category assinged so that PM's can see the view
Hope this helps

The default permissions in Project Server allow members of the Project
Managers group to see only their OWN projects. Hope this helps.
