I am installing Office 2000 to machines over a mapped
network drive. During the installation I am choosing for
most all options to "run from my computer" as opposed
to "installed on first use". After installation of Office,
I install Service Packs 1,2 and 3. Once a user logs onto
the PC and try to open any Office application(Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook ect.) they receive the message. "The
Feature You Are Trying To Use Is On A Network Resource
That Is Unavailable"
Click OK to try again, or choose an alternate path to a
folder containing the installation package 'Data1.MSI' in
the box below. This message doesn't appear if I log on as
admin. or if anyone with admin. privs. logs on. Only the
regular network user. How do I prevent this from happening?
