Unavailable Network Resource Error when opening Office Applications

I am installing Office 2000 to machines over a mapped
network drive. During the installation I am choosing for
most all options to "run from my computer" as opposed
to "installed on first use". After installation of Office,
I install Service Packs 1,2 and 3. Once a user logs onto
the PC and try to open any Office application(Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook ect.) they receive the message. "The
Feature You Are Trying To Use Is On A Network Resource
That Is Unavailable"
Click OK to try again, or choose an alternate path to a
folder containing the installation package 'Data1.MSI' in
the box below. This message doesn't appear if I log on as
admin. or if anyone with admin. privs. logs on. Only the
regular network user. How do I prevent this from happening?

Do your users have access to the share?
If you can give your users access, make sure
they are mapped to the correct location, then
be sure they have Read&Execute permissions to the
installation files.
