how do i get fields with records created using the
expression builder to be available for use in queries, at
the moment only the fields which i enter data in are
avalilable to use in queries.

Hi,
If you mean you have a control on a form that has an expression
as it's control source, you have to have a calculated field in your
query with the same expression.

If that's not what you mean, post back with more info.
