Dear all,
Pls excuse my very bad English.
I have an access 2K application running at 25 customers, some of them
using Microsoft Access, some of them using the Microsoft Access 2K
runtime.
The users only have the MDE executive file. Some forms have an unbound
object frame, in which I dynamically load objects (the file path is in a
table). These objects can be PDF files, Word files, Excel files, ...
any file format that can be recognised by Windows. It works at all my
customers... but one: this user has installed the application on
Windows XP Home Edition, and with Microsoft Office 2003 (standard); he
works with the access 2K runtime and the problem is that he can't see
any JPEG in the unbound object frame. He can load the file (if you
double-click on the picture, the computers opens the chosen application
and the picture), but the picture doesn't display in the frame.
I had tried to associate the JPEG file format to Paint and to others
Microsoft softwares from Office 2003 and from Windows, but nothing
works. Do I have to say to my customer to install the Photo Editor from
office 2000 to get in the picture to be displayed in my application?
Thanks for your help,
