Unconscious Acceptance of task assignments:

Tasks are accepted simply by displaying the task list. The resource may not even see task assignment, especially if the task list is longer than the screen

The problem is task acceptance is a quality tracking and resource performance auditing record

If the resource does not consciously take action to accept the assignment he/she can simply say that they did not see the new assignment. Receiving the notification e-mail does not solve the problem

Am I missing a setting in Project Server

I would not let that excuse slip by so easily.
As soon as the user logs in, the home page should tell
them if they have any tasks or issues that need attention.
