unconstrained fields in MS Project

How do I the the cell properties to allow me to typ any text that I need? I
would like to type numbers, letters in the same cell with out causing any
effect to any other cell. i have tried the various options from the 'column
definition' drop down menu but seem to have no luck.

First, it would help if you would proofread your posts before sending.

I expect you are trying to treat Project like Excel where fields can be
set for any data type. Project does not work that way. Some fields, like
text fields can accept any type of data but most fields have a fixed
format and only data of that format can be entered.
