Hi, I'm having trouble importing data into MS Excel 2003 from MS Access 2003.
I've created a query in access which reads a linked text file and then
cleans up and reformats the data. One of the Access functions that I've used
is the 'replace' function. Now I've got an excel spread sheet that is
supposed to update itself each time I choose to update that data from the
Access query. it works with all my other linked excel files, except for any
file that has to read an access query with the replace function. I've done a
search for the error message, using the Microsoft on-line help system and
it's been found as a bug. The instruction was to install a new dll file
which comes as part of a development pack. How ever, when I checked the
version of the files, mine was already a newer version. Is there anything
else that I can do to make excel update from my access query?
Regards,
Duncan
