undelete a task in PWA

Bone head me, thought that when tasks were collapsed in "my tasks" in PWA,
selecting the select all checkbox would not affect (or select) those tasks
that were rolled up. NOT.

So, the problem is, I have all these tasks on My Tasks that have lines thru
them. Most of the project managers accepted my "request", and now I need to
apply actuals to them. One of the projects is mine, so have been
experimenting. I zero'd out all my work on the task, saved, published, the
task went away. Cool. Open up the project again, bumped my work back up on
the task...deleted task is back.

Is there a way to undelete a task in PWA? I'm hoping my solution is not to
have to go zero out all my work on every project, then add a duplicate task
assigned just to me. That solution sounds so kloogy, but that's MS right?

From your description, there were two goofs made. You selected all tasks
and accidentally deleted them. What were your PM's thinking, however, when
they all approved your task deletion updates? Their goof was the biggest of
all, and much bigger and more catastropic than your goof.

When they approved your task deletion updates, this removed your tasks from
every project they made in Microsoft Project Professional 2007. It is now
up to THEM to re-assign you to those tasks all over again. You cannot solve
this problem yourself. Your situation is why I recommend that project
managers NEVER approve task deletion updates. Instead, I recommend that
team members contact their PM's directly to request removal from tasks.
