Undelete subpage

I was typing notes and accidently hit the keystroke that deleted the subpage
I was working on. Undo did not recover it.

Is this subpage in a cache file or somewhere else I could recover it.

You didn't specify what version of OneNote you are using but in OneNote 2007
have you tried getting it from the Backup? File | Open Backup...

I am using 2007 version. I had not changed the defaults for the backup, so
that wasn't an avenue for me. This happened on new notes I was making, so it
didn't exist in the backups. I read something about ON writing to cache
first and thought maybe there was some utilities where I could read some of
it from the offline cache.

Yes, it writes to cache first but that means it also deletes from cache
first.

I think you'd have to catch it awfully quickly to be able to recover it that
way. Sorry about that!

Any chance this can be 'fixed' in a future release (as opposed to
'sorry'...)? Unless I'm mistaken, this also works the same way for pages (I
haven't used subpages).

I've errantly deleted several good pages over the past few months (among
many pages I wanted to delete), only to find out within minutes that I needed
it. It would be nice to have a delete cache - at least for any given session
- from which I could restore deleted pages. Cheers, Brett.
