Underline button won't toggle of

I stupidly created a macro with "<ctrl>-U" as its shortcut key, thus
disabling the underline button. I attempted to reset the button to its
default mode, and although the underline button now toggles underline on, it
will no longer toggle it off. Is there a way to reset this? If I reinstall
Word, will I wipe out all my modifications (dictionaries, etc.)?

I suppose you have already tried assigning a new shortcut to the Macro?

I can create a new underline-off macro, but I'd like to have the button work
again.

Hey, Elliott,

Thanks for the info--I hadn't stumbled upon the "keyboard" menu before.
Very nice.

I agree that underlining is insufferably old school, but my editor requires
it. He probably uses a Remington Standard.

Cheers,

Rob

This looks very interesting--does it make trouble with the registry/slow down
the machine at all?

Ummm... I'd say if you installed that it might stop your computer entirely
:)

That's Windows only software, and you've asked the question in a group
focused on Macintosh computers :)
