Little Auggie:)

Hi
this site has always come through and helped me out of pickles before
lets see if anyone can do it again, this is a good one.
When you type text in FP and then you use the UNDERLINE
option, the underline is ALWAYS the same color as the TEXT.
I've never saw a program that would let you do it anyother way.
I'm not saying there isn't one out there, just that I've never seen it.
But that is exactly what is happening with a few of the items on
my site. The text is RED, so the under line should be red (what we want) also.
but it is not it is Black (which we don't want).
my question is how can I get the underline color to stay the same as
my TEXT COLOR???
Now this is NOT happening on all the pages only on some of them,
I have tried everything I can think of, including completely redoing
the pages that are effected. Nothing works.
one of the pages is www.fliehmanrealty.com/page2cc
if you go there you can see that down in the text part
the price of the property is in RED but the underling is in
black. HOW do I get it back to red?
thanks LA

Did you convert an Office file (Word?) to a web page?

You're using styles for the font color but the style doesn't affect the
underline. Ex: <span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:red">

Get rid of the styles or include a style for the underline too OR move the
<u></u> tags inside of the <span> tag. Ex:

<span
style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:red"><u>$62,500.</u></span>

Hi Tom,
Yes, the boss sends me the information set up the way she wants it
all I do is open the word doc, do a copy and then paste it into FP
this has alwasy worked before, and most of them still work it is only a
few that change the underline to a black line. if you want to take a look at
what I mean
www.fliehmanrealty.com/page2s.htm
is one of the ones that turned black.

You need to be using FP as your html editor, and not cutting/pasting word
docs. Look at all the garbage it puts in the code.

Dearest David
THANK YOU thank you thank you.
that don't seem like enough but thank you again,
I went in as your suggestion was so simple and change one of the six
that had turned black. IT WORKED I put the <u> right before the
dollar sign and the </u> right after the last digit and then saved it
then re uploaded it to the web. I then went to the site and refreshed the
page, sure enough the underline was back to red. thank you again,
this answer will go in my notebook for the next time, although I don't think
I'll ever forget it.
