underline default

When composing an e-mail in Outlook, the text is automatically underlined.
I have proceeded to use Tools, Options, etc on all the font settings to
change the permanent setting. I turn the underline option to "none" on all
and the problem persists.
I notice if I check the underline option immediately after changing to
'none" and the clicking OK, the 'underline" option re-appears and so does the
underlining.
Even if I click the underline off, and the underlining ceases, it is there
when I check the "sent' messages!

Any suggestions??

Are you perhaps tracking changes? If so, all inserted text would by default
be underlined.
