Underline of Times New Roman

I am having trouble with underlining Times New Roman. Part of my template
document uses 14pt Times New Roman made bold and underlined. On screen
everything looks fine but when I print to my LaserJet 1100A printer there is
no space between the line and the text. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks but that did not work I made sure the line spacing was "Single" and
it still does not work. The thing that really confuses me is that since it
is a True Type font the print layout view and the print preview for that
matter show plenty of space between the text and the underline but when I
print it there is no space. That is what I thought the benefit of a TT font
was...any other ideas?
