Underlines don't print on HP4350 printers

There is a discussion at

about a problem with Word and HP printers where underlines "randomly" don't
print. The resolution of it was that, in an environment with a document
managment system, Word does not reuse some kind of print command instead of
generating it again, and so when a user prints a document twice, that's when
the underlining doesn't print. Microsoft provided a hotfix for XP

I am unable to find a similar hotfix for Server 2003/Word 2003. Does anyone
know if this hotfix exists?
