I am trying to understand if my incoming and outgoing mail server requires SSL and what server options (under EDIT ACCOUNT>OPTIONS>SERVER OPTIONS) should be checked/unchecked.
I also noticed that I have 3 directory service available (Active Directory, Bigfoot and four11). I am not sure which one should be the default. Currently Bigfoot is selected.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Your mail provider should be able to provide that information. As for the
other "Server Options", it really depends on how you want the account to
work. If it is not behaving as you expect, you can change the options.

Probably Active Directory. That sounds like a directory service you might
have created. Bigfoot and Four11 are no longer in operation, to my
knowledge, so you can delete those two.
