I think this is a bug in Excel, but I need some expert opinions to be sure.
I often need to download files in .csv format from an intranet site at my
company. When I open these files, Excel automatically parses the data into
fixed width columns. However, for example, Excel may parse data into fixed
width columns for Col A - G, then leave the lengthy remainder of the data
string in Col H.
I have checked that a comma is used as the List separator in the Regional
and Lanugage options. And none of my coworkers experience this problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.
