Undo subtask

I've erroneously created a subtask using the indent button. As a result the task above has generated the expand box next to it. I've tried outdenting the subtask, but the program will not let me. So I'm stuck with this subtask? How does one undo a subtask? The undo icon on the menu bar is greyed out...

This is a bug in Project 2003 Standard. There is a fix available for it.
