Unequal spacing between Microsoft Equation Editor object and rest

I want to place an Microsoft Equation Editor object in a paragraph of prose
with 1.5 line spacing, however when the object is inserted, the line below
the object has a bigger space the the rest of the paragraph. How do I even
out the line spacing for the whole paragraph

Hi,

If you right-click on the equation and select Format Object then select the
layout tab then Tight.
