I have a project with two tasks:
T1 is a 5-day task to be completed by resource R1.
T2 is a 15 day task to be completed by resources R1 and R2.
T1 has a higher priority so it starts first.
Project wants to split the task evenly between the two resources so that
they both do 7.5 days of work. However, this is not the optimal solution
since R1 can start on the task 5 days earlier than R2, meaning that they
could split the remaining 10 days on the task and finish it earlier.
Is there any way to have MS Project balance the plan this way automatically,
so that if one resource is available to spend more than his share, it will
be allocated as such?
