The Data Source Control appears to limit the number of groups to something
like 300 displayed in a Group Filter Control placed within a group level on a
Data Access Page, at least using version OWC10. It is especially obvious when
you include the group control within the Group Section along with the filter
control. To see this phenomenon, you must have a table containing a field
with more than 400 unique entries (groups). Drag the field from the Field
List to a Data Access Page. Promote it to a group level. Drag the field again
from the Field List with the right mouse button down and select "Group Filter
Control" from the menu. Look at the page in view mode. The filter will only
contain the first 300 groups or so. I have tried this with two databases.
It can help to delete the control that the group is based on so that only
the filter is left in the group section. But this does not help if you have
other groups at a higher level.
Any help or comments would be very welcome! Thanks in advance.
