We've isolated a cause of an error associated with users getting to My
Tasks It's an error we've seen with a couple of different projects.
A user logging into PWA tries to access their My Tasks and is given an
"unexpected error" when they click on the link.
The cause: when a resource is added to a task which already has
actual time booked against it, the new resource gets an "unexpected
error" when they click on My Tasks. Existing resources on the task
are fine. I was able to make this happen for several users while
troubleshooting by adding them to tasks in an existing project. I
then created a project with one task and we were able to recreate the
error.
Here's how we recreated it:
Created a project named "Simple Test Project" with one task of 10
days
Assigned User A to the task and published
User A booked 1 hour against the task and submitted the update
I reviewed, accepted, and published the update
I asked User B to go to My Tasks (she was successful)
I added User B to the task and republished
Use B got the error going to My Tasks
Use A was able to access My Tasks successfully
Has anyone heard of this phenomonon? Are there fixes for it?
