Unexpected error loading Microsoft Framework Library

Whenever I open an office product on my Mac, I get a message stating "An
unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework
library" Is this important? If it is, what should I do about it? If it is
not, how do I get that message to stop showing up?
