Unexpected error Occurred While Installing 1008:17,-4 (Office11.2)

Hi All,

I installed Office 11.2 on my iMac G5 last night without issue. When I came
to install it this morning on my Mac mini I received the following error:

An unexpected error occurred while installing
"Microsoft Word:
1008:17,-4

I did a few searches around town but couldn't find any explanation of the
error message. I tried downloading, but Microsoft's Autoinstaller doesn't
find anything to download. And I can no longer launch Entourage or Word -
and probably the other programs too.

Any ideas?

Never mind. I did a complete reinstall and everything seems to be ticketyboo
now :*)

Hi Nigel:

I think you too have been hit by an error in the original download.

When you went back for the full re-install, you got the new version

(The error would fail to quit the Database Daemon, which locked the software
and prevented the upgrade.) Users who have successfully installed do not
need to do anything: this error affected only a few users.

Never mind. I did a complete reinstall and everything seems to be ticketyboo
now :*)
