Hi
I few times in access2002 my database shuts down unexpectedly and asks
wheter I would like to send microsoft an error-report. Then Access creates a
backup which on open starts to compress. I can see that my non-backup version
(the one that was shutdown) is compressed to around 1/3 of original size.
Does anyone know if the compression made by Access only is a way to store
the database less space-consuming. Very few things were changed before
unexpected showdown so for that reason my non-backup version (and compressed
version!) would be ok to use as master.
Many thanks in advance!
