Unexpected pasting result

Sometimes when copying & pasting, a user gets the
DeltaView symbol and not the text from Word. Sometimes
when cutting & pasting, he gets nothing. Ideas anyone?

application - selecting Edit --> Paste, or something

User reports this has been going on sporadically for
months. Today I witnessed text from Word going into an
Outlook email. No text just the icon for DeltaView
(another program we have here).

Check two thing. Open Internet Explorer and use Tools, Options, Programs tab
and check that they are all correctly set. Then reregister Word by using
Start, Run and typing in

winword /r

and press OK.

See if that resolves the problem.
