I have the Office Standard Suite 2007, running on Vista Home Premium SP2.
Three weeks ago I updated the Office suite to SP2. In the last week or so I
have been getting unexpected popups of the Microsoft Office Activation
Wizard; the heading is "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Trial". I have
never had the Trial on my system; the Office Standard Suite 2007 was
purchased retail as an Upgrade off-the-shelf.
The popup announces "This copy will expire on 31 August 2009" and invites me
to convert to the full product.
Can anyone suggest why I am getting this popup? Could it have something to
do with the update to Office SP2? How can I get rid of it?
