Unexpected prompt to save template

Hi,

Suddenly, Word '03 is prompting me to save changes to the "global
template". But no such changes have been made by me. I can simply
open an empty Word document, then having done nothing exit Word,
and I get this prompt.

I suppose this is a corruption in one of the global templates,
and that if I OK saving the change I will be done with the
short-term problem?

But that's just a guess. Seems I'm continually battling this
corruption problem even though I've rebuilt most of the template
a few times now.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that and post back. The only recent
change was the addition of the Office Live utility. I
subsequently turned off both its toolbar and its service.

I just uninstalled the Office Live plugin, and voila, no more
problem. Way to go, MS, make a plugin that breaks the program!

I just did the same - I'm using Office XP on WinXP on this machine, and it's
been bugging me for a while. Couldn't remember just when the messages
started re-appearing, but probably about the time I installed the trial of
Office Live.
