Unexpected translation

I have a word 2003 document with the watermark "CONFIDENTIAL". When I print
it the watermark is changed to "CNIETA".
I have all the latest hotfixes applied.
How can I fix this?

In the Printed Watermark dialog, clear the check box for "Semitransparent."

Wow! That's some strange kind of bug. You suggestion worked, of course.

Yeah, we're not sure what that box is supposed to be for, anyway, since the
watermark is always "screened back" and behind text.
