Unexplained Duration Changes after Leveling

Hi,

I am experiencing problems with some of the tasks in a multiple project MPD,
which uses a common resource pool. After leveling all projects in the
database, some of the tasks change their duration (duration becomes longer
than the baseline duration). All of these tasks are "fixed duration" type. I
have included 2 examples below which i hope will help illustrate the problem.

Example 1

Task#28 (Duration: 61.13d, Baseline Duration: 15d)
Start: 6/7/07
Finish: 1/10/07
Constraint Type: FNET
Constraint Date: 19/5/07
Resources: a (1%), b ( 1 ), c (74%)

**All the above mentioned tasks are linked in a "Finish-Start" relationship.

Any advice would be much appreciated,

Do you have the check box "Can Split" selected? I belieiev by selecting
this, you are allowing a task to be split, thus the longer duration.
